“I Owe It All To You”, is a project I made using family archival footage and photos that helped me discover why I am the artist I am today. Through the process of searching through hours of home videos, I became very aware that it has always been my nature to create and while I thought I was the only creative person in my family, I began to realize that all the talents I have were passed down from generations of artistic family members. Not only did I discover a new way to connect with my grandparents while working on this project but I also discovered new pieces of my history and inspiration to keep creating. I truly have found that everything I have, including my talents, have been passed down to me and I owe everything that I am to those who came before me.
